Meet the founder, Megan!

As the founder and principal of The Dance Company, I’ve dedicated my life to sharing the joy of dance through inclusive, inspiring, and fun experiences for all. My dance journey began at just two years old, taking part in yearly exams, shows, and competitions across the country in styles such as tap, ballet, disco freestyle, contemporary, commercial, and modern jazz.

My passion for teaching grew from a lifelong love of performing, and building this school has truly become my life’s work. Based in Staffordshire, we now offer weekly dance lessons in Tamworth, as well as community sessions in care homes, primary and secondary schools, and evening classes for all ages and abilities.

From baby and toddler dance classes to adult sessions and even wedding dance classes in Warwickshire, I’m proud to create a welcoming environment where everyone can move with confidence, express themselves, and feel part of something special.

We offer dance and acrobatics classes for children from age 3, with exciting options for teens and adults too. Our classes are carefully grouped by age and ability, ensuring every student feels supported, challenged, and inspired to reach their full potential.
Spaces fill up quickly, so we recommend booking in advance to guarantee your spot. Contact us directly to arrange weekly classes, private sessions, or one-off special event.
We recommend wearing comfortable clothing that allows freedom of movement — leggings, t-shirts, and bare feet or dance shoes are perfect. Acrobatics students may prefer a leotard or close-fitting top for flexibility and safety. We’ll let you know if any extra kit is needed after you join
